A Note From Josh

July in Waipawa

The kind of cold that finds the gaps in your jacket and makes you seriously reconsider every decision that led you to being outside. Good news — you don't have to be. The Goat Horn is warm, the coffee is great, and the kitchen has been busy.

Back on the Menu

The Corn Fritters Are Back.

Golden, proper, served with the works — beetroot, quinoa salad, fresh garden salad, and a little pot of sour cream with sweet chilli that finishes the whole thing off. The photo at the top of this newsletter says everything worth saying.

One of those meals that makes you genuinely glad you stopped. If you weren't here last time they were running, now's your chance to fix that.

Daily Special

Soup of the Day

Rotating daily, always made fresh. Always worth asking what's on. Thick, hot, and not messing around — pair it with a coffee and you're set for the afternoon.

Something Warm to Take Home

Hand-Knitted by Josh's Mum

She's been busy. A selection of hand-knitted woollen jerseys, scarves, and mittens are available in store — the real thing, made with care, the kind you won't find on a rack anywhere. Warm, genuine, and one of a kind.

Pick something up while they last. Because they won't.
